Don Jose’s Kitchen: Authentic Latin American Flavors with a New American Twist

WOW WOW!!!! is not all I’m going to say this restaurant is Amazing the food is so delicious .I had the steak breakfast one week I had well done steak and use the butter knife to cut it lol that all I have to say, I had the beef stew the meat pulls apart with the fork that’s all I have to say. All the sides are delicious everything is so fresh you taste the freshness. The ambience clean and fresh the bathroom yes I said it. I told my daughter even if she does not have to go go anyway she did and was amazed. Thank you to all the chefs & staff. Oh and stop by the bakery when you leave delicious!!!!! This is the only restaurant I've been to in all my years and I'm up there in age lol I get something different from the menu each time. As you can see my from all my picks. That's how Delicious their quality & taste of food is. Oh and I'm not easy when it comes to my food Blessings

The staff greeted us warmly and seated us immediately. We were given a basket of chips and salsa. The chips were fresh and crisp. All of the food was prepared well and served timely. I highly recommend the beef stew. They have a bakery next door. Take a look at the desserts before being seated. They will bring it to you when you are ready.

There has been 4 occasions that I ordered custom cakes from the bakery and they came out wrong. Twice of those occasions I ordered tres leches and the cake was DRY (see pictures of the most recent cake). The other occasion I ordered strawberry and cream as a filling and the gave me all the fruit filling (just included the peach so it wasn’t too bad). These are things I pay extra for. I went back after the most recent occasion to see if I could get a partial refund. They never got back to me. Mistakes happen. But the constant mistakes when I am ordering a pricy cake with no accountability is something I can no longer do. Beware when ordering custom cakes. At least the pastries and food are good still. Edit: I never updated the review after the owners responded but here is what happened. I never ask for the discount or refund because I personally never ordered a cake back but my other family members still do. When I did go back to try order another cake, the girl that took note of what happened was there and she told me she did send a text. Turns out she sent the text to the wrong number. She did say she did send something, but how did she send something if it was never received? If I did not go back I would have never known. Anyways other family members still order from them and it still seems to be good for the majority of the time. There is still a couple of cakes that are not tres leches when requested.

I enjoyed their shrimp and crab crisps which were delicious with the cream sauce they are served with. Then I enjoyed two of the pork tacos. Very tasty! Followed by a cappuccino. A most enjoyable meal. Then I walked next door and checked out their bakery. They have so many delicious offerings. I will be back to the restaurant and to the bakery to take home one of the delicious looking cakes!

Came here for dinner recently, and it was definitely on point. Their Don Jose sandwich, and platanos were delicious and so was their Pina Colada. The staff was friendly and it was a very clean restaurant. I highly recommend Don Jose's Kitchen.

I ordered a cake for my niece and daughter's graduation party. Chocolate cake with Tres Leches and caramel filling. The cake was AMAZING!!! I showed the young lady a picture of what I wanted and they copied it perfectly. Thank you for helping make our party a hit!

14 FEB 2025, Friday, Valentine's Day, 6:20 pm Dish 1: Double Smash Burger - $15.00 Dish 2: Pan Seared Chicken Breast - $19.00 Appetizer: Chicken Nachos - $14.00 Kids Menu: Chicken Tenders - $8.00 Atmosphere: It's a little too bright with the three huge chandeliers They seated us on Valentine's Day without a reservation! A complimentary basket of chips and salsa was provided. The nachos appetizer (chicken added) comes with a good variety of toppings. Chips remained crispy. Overall, the nachos were delicious but the cheese sauce was a little runny and settled below all the chips. Kids chicken tenders were soft with a thin light and crispy batter. French fries are thin versions of fair fries and have a deep potato flavor. The pan seared chicken and sauce was flavorful. The smash burger was tasty, but close to being too salty. I think the sauce may have been made with salted butter. The waitress did not ask for a temperature for the burger patties. Overall, the prices were fair, the service was great, the dining room and bathrooms are very clean, and I liked the food.

If you haven't tried it this place is DELICIOUS!!! The service is great and the food is awesome. I had the best birria and carne asada tacos!!! The only down side is they don't serve alcohol. Otherwise it's great! They have a party room too. I would highly recommend checking it out! Did I mention their tres leche cake is outstanding?!
